The initial configuration of the managed instance groups created a conflict with the IP address I was required to make for the load balancer, which at first prevented the final check from succeeding; I got around this by stopping and deleting the offending VM instance, and then reserving the IP before the instance group healed itself. Then I was able to complete the configuration load balancer.

In my first attempt the ssh window was hanged so I couldn't close the window by entering "exit" command. So I closed the window by clicking "x" at the top right corner of the window. The moment I did this I was prompted a rude message saying that I am not following the lab instructions and if I continue my account will be blocker. This is very unprofessional. As I did follow the lab instructions and due to some reason I was not able to type anything in exit command and I was forced to close the window.
