very bad, got warned (and threatened for account ban) for not following lab instruction, despite following it. I assume the one causing it is the restarting startup scripts part, please fix

I had a warning acusing me of not following the lab instructions, but i just set a instance configuration option wrong, so i tried to remove it to try again, and then the warning appeared. I wasn't trying to do anything extraordinary of the lab instructions.
