I was able to complete all the steps successfully and reached 90/100. However, I faced an issue with the “Check my progress” button in Task 2. Even though I correctly assigned the Agent Platform User and Storage Object Admin roles to the service account, the button showed an error and did not validate my progress. The roles were visible in IAM, but the lab system did not sync properly. This delayed my completion and caused confusion.

The lab grader/checkpoint system did not work correctly. Task 3 remained incomplete even though the required gemini_demo dataset, customer_reviews base table, and review_images external object table were successfully created in the US multi-region. BigQuery confirmed that all queries completed successfully. Task 4 also remained incomplete even though BigQuery displayed “Successfully created (or replaced) model named gemini_flash.” Task 5 remained incomplete even though ML.GENERATE_TEXT ran successfully and created customer_reviews_keywords, customer_reviews_analysis, and cleaned_data_view with valid results. Because the checkpoints did not recognize the successfully created resources, I could not complete the lab score despite following the instructions exactly. Please investigate the GSP1246 grader and restore the lab credits used for this attempt.
