Pretty sure that lab should have something like replace ' value: http://workload-simulation-webapp.appspot.com' inside lo cust-worker-controller.yaml with url from earlier step, else all labs are 'testing' centrally deployed application and give no way to see how for example number of workers affect appengine load.
