The lab is ok, but checking progress returned i didn't finish when i absolutely did (i got to the very end of the tutorial with no problem)

Entity does not exist in datastore. Poor experience. I would recommend you to complete the lab yourself first. You will get to know instructions mentioned are out dated

when doing lab we found Firestore with MongoDB compatibility which didnt even have +create entity option

Cannot create with (default) and cannot proceed by entering Firestore. The default value for "Select your edition" is Enterprise Edition. I had difficulty proceeding because there was no explanation to switch to Standard Edition.
