Code seems to be incomplete out-of-box. I was able to start the dataflow job by editing the pom.xml file and adding four lines. On line 36 of pom.xml within <build>/<plugins>/<plugin>/<configuration>/ <executable>java</executable> <includeProjectDependencies>true</includeProjectDependencies> <includePluginDependencies>true</includePluginDependencies> <classpathScope>compile</classpathScope> <mainClass>${storm.topology}</mainClass>
