I think we couldn't pass the first check due to a bug (or change) in the log entries of the create table API. I noticed that the 'ColumnFamily' field in the 'table' field of the request body was omitted from the log entries in Cloud Logging. The check script might be looking for log entries containing the 'ColumnFamily' field with the value lane but couldn't find them because of this bug. However, it was good that I was able to pass the lab overall despite not passing the first check.
