"The first check for enabling the APIs (Notebooks and Agent Platform) is consistently failing to validate. Even after manually enabling them through the Google Cloud Console and confirming their 'Active' status, the lab's progress check does not recognize the objective as completed. I had to use the Cloud Shell to repeatedly force the 'enable' command until the check finally turned green. Aside from this technical glitch in the validation script, the rest of the lab works perfectly, providing excellent insights into Gemini's safety ratings and security thresholds."

Technical Failure in Task 2 Validation. > Despite successful execution of all steps, the "Check my progress" button fails to sync. Evidence: > - Instance created in correct zone (us-central1-a). Service APIs (Notebooks, AI Platform) manually enabled via gcloud after the UI failed. Repository cloned and make install completed successfully within the Jupyter terminal. Lab objectives (Safety Ratings analysis) completed 100%. The grader seems to be looking for a hardcoded instance name or metadata that the lab's own provisioning script failed to set. Fix the synchronization between the VM metadata and the grading script.
