Last step was never able to be validated by the lab for unknown reason (maybe because API does not show the "UPGRADE NODES" operation anymore). Here is the result : $ gcloud container clusters update $my_cluster --zone $my_zone --start-credential-rotation This will start an IP and Credentials Rotation on cluster [standard-cluster-1]. The master will be updated to serve on a new IP address in addition to the current IP address, and cluster credentials will be rotated. Kubernetes Engine will then recreate all nodes (2 nodes) to point to the new IP address.
