Some of the instructions were not very clear, like that we had to delete the original index.php file

Open a new web browser tab and paste into the address bar your bloghost VM instance's external IP address followed by /index.php. The URL will look like this: 35.192.208.2/index.php in this part : you should mention that the link has to begin with http and not https - http://35.192.208.2/index.php

There were multiple issues with the lab, starting with the /var/www/html directory not existing. Fortunately, this was fixed by using 'sudo mkdir'. This was immediately followed with the next issue, where apache2 hadn't been installed on the VM (despite the VM setup and startup script being 100% correct). I had to manually stop the VM and then start it up again. This of course changed the external IP of said VM and for some reason I couldn't access the index page at all, so I couldn't really validate any of the changes made after step 5.
