some of the instruction need update , like the startup script doesn't run. I have to re-install LAMP stack using "sudo" on the "SSH" steps section. otherwise all good and very nice exercuse

Almost everything worked for me, and I did not have to use a manual install of apache server as it was suggested in Core Infrastructure course in the phase 1 of ceretification cohort. The was one problem. The lab asks for typing the IP of VM instance into the browser. Browsers by default use HTTPS, but in the firewall rules we allowed only HTTP. So it did not work for me until I edited the URL to http://<ip_address>/index.php. Either say to use "http://" in the instructions or change the intructions to allow HTTPS traffic.

the instructions missed the fact that the vm need to be restarted in order to excecute the startup script to install packages and set up the apache2 service, a non-sysadmin student could be stuck there forever..
