this lab should be redone. not only is the main tool suggested to use (Cloud Shell Editor) not usable because we are doing this in Incognito mode (requires cookies), but the lab itself is more about watching for copy/paste errors than learning anything. I would suggest making less about constructing the YAML (perhaps explain the importance of order, spacing, etc). and more about how Config Manager works - with the staging, deployment, updating of an existing configuration, seeing a resource reverted that was changed manually, etc. This lab unfortunately doesn't really teach the value of Deployment Manager at all IMHO. If you were to say what make Deployment Manager important to someone - that's what this lab should bring out.
