It seems like the checkpoints need to be shifted down after the cluster status is updated. When you initially check, they fail because the update/deployment is still occurring. Once the cluster is created / updated it then passes.

This lab doesn't demonstrate how canary could be usefull, there is not even the slightest visual difference between the 2 deployments
