Just completed the "Getting Started with Cloud KMS" lab on Cloud Skill Boost. This hands-on experience was incredibly valuable for learning advanced features of Google Cloud's Security and Privacy APIs. I gained practical skills in setting up secure Cloud Storage buckets, managing encryption keys with Key Management Service (KMS), and viewing audit logs. The lab guided me through encrypting data, creating and managing KeyRings and CryptoKeys, and applying IAM permissions for secure key management. I also practiced encrypting multiple files and uploading them to Cloud Storage. Overall, it was a great introduction to Cloud KMS and its integration with other Google Cloud services.
