I had to restart the lab 5 times and spent 5 hrs on it because after copying the data files from the google bucket, I could not import it into the table trips in my database bts. I had to do it manually after spending 5 hours on it. I was getting the error that I have no access / permission for it. #1227 - Access denied; you need (at least one of) the SUPER privilege(s) for this operation

Lab is broken. MySQL 8.0 became the default version for Cloud SQL which breaks the mysqlimport step. CloudSQL create command needs to be gcloud sql instances create taxi --tier=db-n1-standard-1 --activation-policy=ALWAYS --database-version=MYSQL_5_7 to make it work.
