* Where it reads " By default, the URL to an App Engine instance is in the form of https://project-id/appspot.com. " I believe you wanted to have https://project-id.appspot.com * Why creating a Compute Engine machine if I could run Apache Bench on the terminal? These steps added complexity that was not needed.
