python runtime 37 is not supported any more so I had to use 38 which ran fine but the check for the App Engine task could not be verified.

Cannot complete the lab because of error in task 2. Contacted the tech support and it was confirmed that many users are running into the same issue and that Coursera will let me know when the lab is fine.

App Engine app deploy failed with python37. I updated to python312 and removed the specific python module versions from requirements.txt to make it work. The app deployed properly but task 2 wouldn't successfully pass the check when I checked progress.

-the libraries and run environments are either broken or deprecated by google -the progress follow-up doesn't work (following the steps, having the service running and checking the progress doen't yield a "completion check")
