1. Please note that to pass through ssh credentials through bastion host to the us vm, one could use: eval `ssh-agent` ssh-add -L ssh-add ~/.ssh/google_compute_engine gcloud compute ssh privatenet-bastion --ssh-flag="-A" --zone us-central1-c 2. Also after the external ip is removed one could use the above ssh agent to get to the box. Thus a small section of the lab doesn't work as expected. 3. Also the accessing storage works even after the external ip is removed.
