It would be helpful to set PROJECT_ID and USER_ID environment variables early on, instead of having to manually edit multiple commandlines.

The documentation is hard to tell what is a screen capture, vs instructions on the page. Some of the command responses did not match the lab results. Multiple hickups if this was the first time setting up the lab.
