There's a little mistake in section Task 6. Authenticate to Firebase and Deploy Press Enter and then N to keep your firestore.rules file. Press Enter and then Y to keep your firestore.indexes.json file. This seems like inconsistency and in fact the firebase CLI does on both cases require option N to avoid overwrites of these existing files
