never got the messages to appear in the output. or the saved messages. Does the code need to be updated for a newer version? Console has error message "main.js:72 Uncaught TypeError: firebase.database is not a function at loadMessages (main.js:72) at main.js:356"

The step given to copy the link from cloud shell could not be done as the link was not copiable and it was big so cannot type it manually. "Select your username and click Allow. Do not click the link! Copy the link in the output into a new tab."
