I encountered significant issues that forced me to repeat the course unnecessarily. Despite meticulously following the lab instructions, Google kicked me out, stating that I was using too many resources and warning that my account would be suspended if I did not use the platform properly. However, I did nothing outside of the provided instructions. Specifically, I was stuck at the "Create a Workstation" step when trying to enter the value for Configuration and select "my-config." Despite the previous step indicating the status as 'Ready,' the configuration option "my-config" never appeared in the menu, even after waiting for more than 15+ minutes. I followed the instructions exactly and barely refreshed the page, yet I could not proceed. After looking at the one-star reviews, it seems I was not the only one facing these issues. Furthermore, the instructions in Tasks 5 and 6 should be rewritten. There were numerous popup notifications that were unclear whether they should be clicked or ignored. Additionally, the instructions in Task 6 were particularly difficult to follow. As a result of these issues, I had to pay for the course again, which is unfair given that the problem was due to a flaw in the system and not any error on my part. Google, please address this issue and provide a resolution for users who encounter similar problems. It is disappointing to incur additional costs and waste time due to system errors beyond our control.
