Two comments on the Dataflow part. Firstly, the lab script refers to the old Dataflow job details page. Hence the statements on autoscaling in the right column do no longer apply to the new page. You may want to update the lab script. Secondly, the default worker for Dataflow is now n1-standard-4. It is powerful enough to handle the speed by which the data read from Pub/Sub. Hence no autoscaling takes place. The whole time the lab works with just one worker. To show autoscaling you may want to consider using a weeker worker type when setting up the job.

Have been waiting for a long time yet there is still no preinstalled "/training" dataset available in the directory. The issue happened in step Task 1 - "Verify initialization is complete".
