The datastudio was at least for me annoying since UX seems to be diff from what is explained so hard to follow how to set it up, I'd suggest to just make some basic X axis is this, Y is this and that's it

Some of the instructions didn't match the interface. There were also buttons that needed to be disabled to get the intended results for the combo chart. Also, the calendar wasn't an option when doing the time series chart.
