I was unable to complete Task 8 because after finishing Task 7, I received a notification that Looker was unavailable, and then when I tried to access it via the link provided and the navigation menu, I was directed to a page where I could request a free trial or demo.

good exercise. could use more clear definition around resources setup for lab purposes only, as well as pictures within the instructions. Looker instructions were the most complicated to follow.
