The directions in the "Task 7. Create a real-time dashboard" section did not appear to match the available choices in Looker, and my final graph did not look anything like the sample. However, it may be simply that I stopped the Dataflow job after only a few dozen data points had been collected (and all on the same day).

Got stuck running the job. It has been running for over 40 minutes, so the lab timed out. No errors detected so far.

The pipeline doesn't populate the BQ tables. So I retried and made everything exactly as written in the description, no error messages, no errors in the log, AND NO DATA IN BQ. I retried a couple of times, and naturally got stuck in GCP bugs such as dropped entities cannot be recreated, changed all names and still no success. I think this lab is bad because it doesn't give the depth of understanding needed to set up and debug such a volatile setup.

Maybe something I missed but the pub/sub did not publish any messages. Will need to redo the lab and see if I can get it to work
