spent 25mins waiting for the job in task4 to run and it did not say we can go to the next step and not need to wait for it, failed mid task8 because of this.

During task 3 it wasn't obvious you can continue - you can easily lost 10-20 minutes if you are waiting for that "3-5 minutes to run"...
