Since I created the job with "only authenticated" (default), so then I was unable later to run the job (invoke fails silently). The solution, which you could add into the tutorial to make it better, seems to be: $ gcloud alpha functions add-iam-policy-binding unused_ip_function --member=allUsers --role=roles/cloudfunctions.invoker After running that one, then the job can be run ok and lab can be completed: $ gcloud scheduler jobs run unused-ip-job regards, dylan.drummond@wartsila.com
