region selection for us-central indicated as # 13 while it is 14 now.

On execution of 'gcloud scheduler jobs create...' the us-central region is [14], not [13].

In order to run the cloud function from scheduler I basically had to allow unauthenticated invocation. Not the best solution, but helped me stick to cost optimization and not have to dive into the security part. Would like to see the better solution here to run cloud function securely. My steps: I ran cloud function deploy with --allow-unauthenticated.. i.e. gcloud functions deploy unused_ip_function --allow-unauthenticated --trigger-http --runtime=nodejs8 And then I gave allUsers permission to do cloud invoke gcloud functions add-iam-policy-binding unused_ip_function \ --member=“allUsers” \ --role=“roles/cloudfunctions.invoker”
