Editing files was very difficult in the cloud shell. Copy paste was very inconsistent in nano and vim, and in vim it automatically used tabs instead of spaces for indentation so all the spaces had to be input manually. It took so long (I was trying to follow along and do everything myself properly) that I failed to complete it within the time limit. I had to sit the lab again and speedrun copying and pasting the code. I had to use TextEdit to copy all the files' contents so it would copy and paste properly. The actual content of the lab was fine. It would be nice if there was a final version of each file available to copy-and-paste because trying to modify the files manually and getting errors is frustrating.
