Unable to activate cloud shell. Could not begin the lab. Error prompt suggested I needed to login to an account - I have never seen this error message before.

I believe that there was too much focus on editing Python code compared with the focus of the lesson, which is using Firestore. As a student, I just want to learn about using Firestore in Google Cloud, and believe that the code used should be as streamlined as possible. It slowed me down and frankly made it harder to learn concepts due to feeling more sluggish, by having to navigate the code, find where to paste or edit a snippet, and repeat this x times. There was also the fact that I was being encouraged to think of how to write the code myself and had to click each hint to get the code to copy and paste. I do not believe that this lesson should be teaching me how to write the solution myself, and is better at showing me the simple example rather than having me think of it but maybe for others it suits so I have some empathy with this approach. However, I'd much rather just be given the necessary code (which I can look at if I'm unsure of how anything works), and proceed with steps regarding Firestore. There was also the new introduction of creating files using cat with the code as text in the CLI, which differs to previous labs in the course (Cloud Developer Learning Path). In previous labs, code was given in segments and pasted in using nano. I think consistency in this regard would help, as the less new information between modules the better.

Having to copy and paste long files into the Cloud Shell where it doesn't show the full contents you're pasting is a bit disorienting and had me questioning whether I was doing the right thing. For this lab in particular, I might suggest directing users to use the Cloud Editor directly so they are familiar with both ways of doing things.
