GCP: BILLING ACCOUNT FAILED TO ATTACH: Cannot do any DML steps because they require billing in the GCP project Qwiklabs: QUIZ UI IS BUGGY: Cannot reliably click on quiz elements, they stay grayed out. Refreshing seems to move the problem around on the page

Error on Step 6, which states you require a billing account since DML (insert) statements are not free. This needs to be fixed.

some of the questions were not clickable for me, and the insert question threw a billing not enabled error in the console

For the INSERT INTO ecommerce.site_wide_promotion (discount) VALUES (.04), (.03); query there is an error message: Billing has not been enabled for this project. Enable billing at https://console.cloud.google.com/billing. DML queries are not allowed in the free tier. Set up a billing account to remove this restriction. (The numbers are off after that, had to guess.)
