Cant progress with this lab. ERROR: Python 2 is not compatible with the Google Cloud SDK. Please use Python version 3.5 and up. If you have a compatible Python interpreter installed, you can use it by setting the CLOUDSDK_PYTHON environment variable to point to it.

gcloud does not install because it needs python3 that is was installed. yum install python3 resolves the issue.

Outdated. Unable to continue in Task 2. ERROR: Python 2 is not compatible with the Google Cloud SDK. Please use Python version 3.5 and up. I had to manually install python 3.9 using yum to make this lab work.
