Lab is broken - this error prevents anyone from continuing: ERROR: Python 2 is not compatible with the Google Cloud SDK. Please use Python version 3.5 and up. If you have a compatible Python interpreter installed, you can use it by setting the CLOUDSDK_PYTHON environment variable to point to it.

The default zone check is not working in check my progess as well as the check on creating lab-2 is faulty it does not work it asks to create the lab-2 instance in project 1 where the user 2 does not have permission

There's an error on 1st step, You need to manually install python3 before running the 2nd step curl https://sdk.cloud.google.com | bash. The error is generated by python version 2.7.5, as it's not supported by the SDK. Only python v3.5 and above.
