Would be nice to explain the difference between the USER we are signed in as (in the PS1) and the gcloud user that the commands are defaulting to. This was a major confusion for me - as regular linux 'whoami' conflicts with the gcloud identity default we are setting up. Also, your naming SUCKS in this example because you're calling everything 'devops'. The role, the service account, the account description. This makes it hard to follow what-is-what. Those gripes aside, this was a pretty good lab, and with a bit of an update (fixing bugs like "centos-clean ... simulates an environment that doesn't have gcloud installed ...First test, to confirm that gcloud is successfully installed") it could be a *great* lab!
