I finally got why I was misusing this lab. Thanks. Maybe it should be stressed more the fact that we are using a ssh connection, and not the cloud shell. I missed that once in the beginning, and it made the entire lab to out of track, many times, until I decided to re-read everything from the beginning.

Sorry, this lab does not work. It tries to use yum on a debian instance, the check points are no working, and some of the commands are not right, like the one to switch to the "default" user, which does not exist. I had to use "gcloud config configurations activate cloudshell-1482". This time the cloud shell instance is not able to connect. Previous time: The file ~/.config/gcloud/configurations/config_default does not exist. Something is strange and instead I can see the file ~/.config/powershell/Microsoft.PowerShell_profile.ps1 I am going to restart the lab
