AGAIN... Things as simple as launching VM Instances under Compute Engine FAIL. It just spins, for HOURS, until the lab times out. I have wasted more hours redoing labs where I was 3/4 the way through, only to have GCP crap out on me over and over. I have decided to NEVER invest in Google as a company, or in this product as long as I live. This is quite possibly the most frustrating, poor product, I've worked with in my 30+ years of working with software. It might be good if when you selected items, the product actually did what you told it to do. I'm out.
