Minor issue in the "Modify and redeploy the Cloud Endpoint configuration" section. After deploying the new version of the quiz-api.json I still couldn't access the api on the machine name, only ip-address. The VM machine needed the "endpoints-service-config-id" meta data updating to the new version of the config.
