Messy! not so clear what I am doing!!! first, no python or java sample, just nodeJS. too bad. Then, the code of the app is mixed up with the code of the API, which makes things confusing. Please specify at the beginning (and this counts for all LABS using this quiz sample) what part of the app is missing, and how we implement it For example here (I guess): The app does not have an API (show error on browser) We will create an API (this part was explained) which takes its data in [explain where is the data] by creating a compute engine in which we will run a nodeJS API. We need first to define the interface , then deploy the API ... (list steps and explain their use before copy/paste!). A good architecture drawing might help also

I was unable to create the VM from the create VM page. I had to use the gcloud command instead since the create button was grayed out due to the "Form loading". I was also unable to get the API running at all because there was no response when I clicked on the external ip
