Ran into difficulty with deploying cloud functions. It was not explained that the full cloud deploy functions command can be looked up at "prepare_environment.sh" in the github project for quiz application, and that the npm version 10 should be installed because the version 6 that the shell script tries to install is deprecated. This took me a few minutes.
