When creating the virtual machine, the instructions don't specify which Debian image to choose, but the test script apparently expects Debian 9. When I tried with 10 (the default) it didn't work. Please update either the instructions or the test.

metadata value was hard to understand which value to add (need to add additional steps of explanation where to look). And need to re-do lab because of debian9 required (and not debian10 as select by default) During creation of the VM instance you need to change version of Operating System. By default Google suggests to use Debian 10, but you need to change it to Debian 9 (stretch)
