way too much copy paste for a simple example; failure when installing npm (succeeded after picking node 18 instead of 14); in the end I wasn't able to complete this lab or access the endpoint through external IP of provisioned VM

node 14 is deprecated and also errored out with "SyntaxError: Unexpected token '??='". Had to use node 16
