The api2swagger application does not work well, either in terms of working, or guiding developers. These days, a good developer would generate a YAML, rather than JSON, swagger specification. Also, probably due to bit rot, the quiz-api.json specification generated by api2swagger does not include the specification of the operations despite asking the user for that information. If I weren't already an experienced OpenAPI developer, I would not have caught it, because there is no indication of an error. You actually see the error only at the very end because the endpoints NGINX daemon doesn't work properly as there are no operations in the API. There is however the definition of a service and a config. I was able to fix it, but I think this way of creating an API specification is sort of stupid anyway; a developer should edit it properly or setup a system to keep their API definition correct in code. That is what I have done in the past with Django, and drf-yasg.
