scripts do not setup the cloud-shell in a way that survives disconnects, remote cluster not contactable for most students. Had a good time debugging and hacking on it to semi-fix it, but the "can't get to remote cluster" thing just kills it. Sorry!

2 issues in the lab: -one on the installation of the cluster that makes think that something went wrong (cluster name null), -one on the cluster registration (should use --kubeconfig instead of --kubeconfig-file)
