The Anthos Service Mesh Topology View needs to improve and be more intuitive. The instructions here cannot be easily followed in the UI.

I got errors during login.. very confusing. It took ages until the anthos service mesh view was available + I got strange notifications about a not available service mesh. I think I followed the tutorial correctly.
