Overall a good for beginners but the Stackdriver Monitoring task is a bit useless as it does not show any observability feature at all from Istio. In fact, we only see how SD discovers GKE resources, independent of Istio. I would replace this part with showing how to access prometheus or grafana and show a bit of the metrics they discover from Istio. Task 3 is also not that interesting because we are just cycling through the 3 versions of the service at each request (as it is with plain kubernetes) and not leveraging the Istio capability of putting weights on the version which was described during the previous classes (from coursera). Even if it would make the lab a bit longer I would show how to configure the VirtualService to distribute traffic differently across the versions OR just skip task 3 for this lab.

That's the second best damn lab, I saw in GCP courses in Coursera! Previous one - from this course(GKE on-prem) had a bit larger scope, but this one - it require only 99 extra stars so... it's still incredible!
