Some of the prompts don't match the current UI. More queries and more explanations of what the flow logs have would be nice, as well. Do they only have metadata about the individual packets, or can they let you look at flows like packet captures can?

Table is not created.

I couldn't complete the lab as something is missing. Following the instructions my dataset had no table, hence I couldn't send the last query. UPDATE: I did the lab again, it come up that it took +1h for a table to be created from a sink in task 4 - discovered only by accident. There should be some information in the task description about such unusually long timings as they are almost as long as the whole lab.

the table wont load in BigQuery, waited for almost 20mins

Although the logs route/sink and the BigQuery dataset were created and new logs were being made, no table was created in the dataset in the given lab time (maybe the export for BigQuery is done only on some specific time intervals). So lab couldn't be finished.

Task 4, step 6 should be changed from “Create Export” to “Create Sink” since this is how console currently displays this button.

The traffic to external IP was never shown in the flow logs. I set up a 2nd server inside the VPC. Traffic between that server to the http server is recorded in the flow logs.
