used an all-numeric unique id which failed at a later stage (must start with alpha). Unable to recover from that.

Best lab so far; feels like it was written by someone who understands the value of algorithmic accuracy. I wasn't sure whether I was supposed to randomly generate a "unique ID" or derive it from the project-is, now whether to use the same "unique ID" the second time.
