We should have used a distroless image in dockerfile where it will reduce the image size which is the kubernetes best practice. Rest is fine. Thank you.

same problem every time. docker run -d -p 8080:8080 gcr.io/PROJECT_ID/hello-node:v1 does not work . yes im putting in the actual project id. the id works in the previous command but the above code gets an error of something to the effect of image not found. please fix. very frustrating.

You put in some commands or even copy /paste them and it still brings out an error after spending 40 minutes gettting to that place. Not good.

Creating kubernetes cluster took too much time, - and completed with the following exception. Google Compute Engine: Not all instances running in IGM after 35m23.203591872s. Expected 2, running 0, transitioning 2. Current errors: [GCE_STOCKOUT]: Instance 'gke-hello-world-default-pool-ef9eeb53-9591' creation failed: The zone 'projects/qwiklabs-gcp-00-03480bba92ff/zones/us-central1-a' does not have enough resources available to fulfill the request. Try a different zone, or try again later.; [GCE_STOCKOUT]: Instance 'gke-hello-world-default-pool-ef9eeb53-cfkl' creation failed: The zone 'projects/qwiklabs-gcp-00-03480bba92ff/zones/us-central1-a' does not have enough resources available to fulfill the request. Try a different zone, or try again later. I will try lab later and it will be my third attempt.

due to unable to create cluster in suggested zone us-central1-a could not finish within time

Paulo C. · Reviewed over 2 years ago

it doesn't create the cluster, I've tried 2 times

Mihai N. · Reviewed over 2 years ago

Again. Issue with zone. Waited forever for the deployment step just to get told that the zone did not have sufficient resources for deployment.
