Good overview. One minor type when cleaning up the docker images - the version is missing for the image tagged with gcr.io: docker rmi node-app:0.2 gcr.io/[project-id]/node-app:0.2 node-app:0.1

Make the student to use an environmental variable for the project ID, and change all the [project-id] from the code to be copied and pasted!!!!!!!!!!
